The 2011 Embedded Market Study presented by Embedded.com is an annual survey of embedded
designers in throughout the world showing trends in software and hardware usage by various
companies in the Electronics Embedded Ecosystem.
Findings include break outs of the embedded developers’ tools and work environment, applications targeted, methods and processes used, operating systems used, brands and chips used and considering for adoption, issues being confronted and demographics. Many questions in this survey have been trended over five years. With over 1,886 respondents from across the Embedded industry, the rich dataset (with an overall confidence of 95% +/- 2.25%) enables a deep analysis to track key changes in this important electronics industry segment.
